Never thought I'd see it.

Something that makes the Scion XB look good

Suprisingly evolutionary...

I remember the drastic change the Nissan made from the 1st to 2nd generation Cube, so this minor step is a bit of a 'let down'...

I still believe that it will find a niche in the U.S. market though.

Well, it fits its name. But either that car is really big, or those rims are no more than 14"

The Z11 (previous model) had 15's, so I would expect it to have similar sized rims, or possibly 16's. Being a very slab sided vehicle they look a lot larger than they are.....

The wheels are too small for Northeast cities that have severe potholes and rough roads.

The Ford Flex has 20" Rims, and better suited for winter driving.

Small wheels makes it tough on steering and suspension components, especially ball joints.

Busted Ball joints is a common breakdown in my city given the rough roads.

This car has nothing to do with a Ford Flex. It's an entry level vehicle. No one said it's an offroad/winter vehicle. Would you make the same comment for a pontiac solstice?

I like the Front Grille and the Swing out tailgate.

The continous window that wraps around the C-Pillar is a new idea that may solve the blind spot issue.

No... Not really.

I've driven many 2nd generation Nissan Cubes (the 3rd appears to be simply an update of that version), and the 'wrap-around' is little more than glass covering the exact same sized pillar as the one on the opposite side.

It's just a stylistic gimmick...

The tail lights concern me though. Our 1983 Chevy Malibu Wagon had the same low taillamps built into the bumper, making the vehicle less visable. When the car was driven in winter, the snow would collect on the rear bumper, covering the tail lights. Salt spray from the rear tires would obsure the tail lights as well, especially on the interstate.

Volvo-style tail lights would be a better way to go. I would think one would want to be highly visable in such a small vehicle to avoid being rear-ended.

More of Nissan's evolutionary design, as opposed to the revolutions early in the decade..... perhaps a little too conservative now. We've seen very sonservative updates of the X-Trail, Cube, and in non NNA markets, the Maxima/Teana..... I realise than in the GOM (general overseas markets) Nissan perhaps moved too quickly, and put off some buyers, but I wonder if the pendulum has swung too far the other way now...... time will tell I guess.
