2010 Lincoln MKZ revealed in LA

Completing three of Ford’s improved mid-size sedans this week at the LA Auto Show is the new Lincoln MKZ, which like its predecessor Ford Fusion and Mercury Milan siblings has gotten a new face, revised insides, and more standard attributes for the 2010.

The introduction of a new sports variation with unique performance suspension tuning is the chief highlight, plus more rigid springs and bigger stabilizing bars, 18 inches ‘Euroflange’ shined wheels, darkened grille and headlamps, and an inside with accented piping.

Segment-restricted attributes have also been added to the car, among these are a blind spot monitoring system and cross traffic reverse sensors. The blind spot system utilizes dual multiple-beam radar modules located behind the rear fenders. Indicator lights in the outside rear-view mirror on both sides of the vehicle caution the driver when a car come into the defined blind-spot zone, extending from the side mirror to 10 feet behind the vehicle and 10 feet away from the vehicle.

I actually like this car.
This and the MKS are the only Ford products that i would actually consider buying. They just need to provide a better ride. It's way too soft.
Look at Caddy they provided a sporty drive to the CTS and everyone thought they would loose sales because of Caddilacs usual customers but if Lincoln wants new younger customers they have too provided a more inspired ride especially to their entry level car such as this.

They also need to improve the fit and finish of the car. The pieces seem to creek when you press on them and some of the panels and window sill parts don't seem to line up properly. None of the cars from Lincoln is immune to poor quality. They need to have more QC before they can compare with Cadillac, and Lexus(Japanese-American company) in the USDM. As for the other marquee's like Mercedes, Audi, Jaguar, and BMW, Lincoln can't really compare either. I'm not biased to Japanese & Euro imports because I absolutely adore the CTS and CTS-V but they can't be taken seriously until those minor kinks are refined.
