Man BURIES His BMW 7-Series 12 Feet Underground!

Buried in a giant hole in the North Texas countryside lay a well kept secret. Tommy Reed, a special agent with the National Insurance Crime Bureau said it had "been in the ground for nearly two years. It was in bad shape."

Investigators initially only found a muddy mess. They brought in a backhoe and started digging. Reed said, "There was trash exposed. It was six to seven (feet) down, and we had to dig another four to five feet to get it out."

Um, that's not what he meant. That's a V8. Most eight-cylinder luxury sedans had 300hp, or close to 300hp, by the late '90s. He meant the small six-cylinder sedans that we see today, am I right?

I'd assume when talking about a 300hp car in this thread, you would be talking about this 740i, which was a V8 w/close to 300hp (282 to be exact).

I'm amazed at the stupidity of the comments that come out on this Web site. There are always people flaming each other for the most absurd reasons or articles. Everyone likes their own cars... who cares, respect other people's opinions and stop trying to force yours down others' throats.

Aah, North Texas, this explains it! Driving the car to Mexico and parking with the keys inside the ignition required a 7 hour drive. It was just quicker to bury it.
