Is the C6 Corvette just a bit too modern for you? Designer Christian Cyrulewski felt exactly the same way, so he reskinned Chevy's supercar in the spirit of the classic 1969 Stingray. He's released a rendering of the car, which he plans to build and display for the 2009 Woodward Dream Cruise car show in Detroit, Michigan.

You know...I saw a circs-1980 Corvette the other day...nothing special but in nicely maintained shape.

I still think it is one of the curviest, nicest designs of the 'Vette. It's too bad it didn't have the balls to back up the looks. I wonder if that brand-new, never titled 1978 Pace Car is still for sale for $118,000 on the Internet??? : P

I think it looks awesome.

With the way people are pushing for "new" and "creative", we will be driving cars that look like single-celled organisms.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS CAR!!! GM NEEDS to put this EXACT car into production with pop-up headlights and all! I don't think it is tail heavy, it is just the right balance of modern and retro syncing harmoniously together. I even like the quad-exhaust tailpipes, no need for side outlets. This is a WICKED-HOT, TOTALLY AWESOME CAR!
