Land Rover Freelander 2 TD4_e receives Stop/Start Technology

The Land Rover Freelander 2 TD4_e, the world’s first SUV equipped with intelligent Stop Start Technology, is now put to the test in a specially developed off-road course which cuts through the center of Battersea Power station in London.The Land Rover Freelander 2 TD4_e, which is on sale in the UK in May 2009, offers an 8% lowering of CO2 emissions and, in heavy urban traffic, a potential fuel savings of up to 20%.
