AutoLabo tunes the Toyota Prius

AutoLabo tunes the Toyota Prius
Appearing to be coming out of a science-fiction film, the AutoLabo Prius is in fact an actual production aero kit. It is enhanced for boosting aerodynamics says AutoLabo, hence making it fuel cost-effective more than the regular Prius. Eco-tuned would be a better name for it. There is nothing much said of this vehicle on the Internet. It has somehow escaped the attention of media outlets. Eco-tuning offering by AutoLabo includes a front bumper, side skirts, rear fender skirt, rear bumper, coilover suspension and a rear carbon wing.

It may not the best quality product Toyota makes but it sure as hell gives you the MPG you wish your G37 had. I wouldn't say it's crap but I know that plastic that Nissan used in the 350z, Pathfinder Armada, Infiniti QX56 were crap. The Maxima is the most comfortable car in their lineup and the M35/45 is the only Infiniti I would consider buying.

With that said, the Prius is not the car for me. After reading much about the process of how Toyota gets their batteries into heir cars I might as well drive a V6 or V8 because the long term effects from the making of the battery is worse.

Interesting...

I guess one could deduce that further improvement to the Prius' aerodynamic efficiency could only help it achieve higher mileage figures, so I can see where this might make sense.

Admittedly, all this kit really does is make the Prius look like a 1st Gen Honda Insight with 4 doors.

I've always found the Prius an interesting car, but their is only one reason to buy it, the enviroment. Less emisson and lower use of fuel. I admire that.

If you just buying one for the fuel economy your an idiot. When you figure in the addition savings per miles it doesn't make sense to pay 8 to 10 grand more for the hybrid. Adding thousand of dollars in a body kit makes even less sense.

apparently you are totally unaware of the 'sport' of hypermiling.

people compete to see just HOW HIGH mpgs they can get. the unofficial champ gets 56 mpg out of his regular accord. he's exceeded 110 mpg with prii.

who knows, with THIS prius, he may get more than 130 mpg.

this is NOT the kind of competition most guys on this board appreciate, but it IS very competitive for the participants.
