Gas prices reach a near 5-year low

A national survey said Sunday that gas prices dipped to $1.75 a gallon - a near five-year low. The Lundberg Survey said that price of self-serve gasoline dropped 22 cents in the past two weeks which is the lowest its been since the $1.74 average seen in March 2004.

Lundberg said the price reductions we are seeing now are due to a drop in crude prices and demand. Prices could drop more if the economic crisis continues to affect the demand of crude oil. Lundberg said that the all-time high average was set on July 11th of this year at $4.11.

the rapid drop in gas prices has made me angry. for so long we were paying so high yet so quickly we are paying so low. so much corruption

Trust me it's gonna shoot back up. and what are we going to do? what we did for the past 5 year's were gonna deal with it and piss n moan. only we can stop it from happening. all we all have to do is all stay home one day. but in reality that will never happen. diesel is a by-product right? then why are truck drivers still paying over 3 dollar's a gallon? so the gov can keep the cost of living way up. they control us. high diesel prices mean more at the store
