Does THIS Mock Ad Say It ALL About The Bailout? HYSTERICAL! NSFW
I saw this floating around the net today and I almost died when I read it, because at first glance it looks like a real ad.

But as I read it, as satirical as it was, isn't it really the sentiment of why SO many Americans are against throwing more money at this sad situation?

As much as the companies deserve it, its a bit harsh.

I wish that there was a way to fire the Top 20% at each company and keep the rank and file workers. This situation is entirely management's fault, not the autoworkers.

Hysterical, no, crass, sophomoric, and mean spirited, perhaps.

Spot-on. The only thing logically missing is a companion ad about how you wouldn't loan jobless people your savings to buy their million dollar McMansions, so the financial industry it taking it anyway. The essence of bailouts and corruption in our government.

The mortgage underwriters don't force loans on anyone. The buyer enters the contract of his own will. If the buyer is unable to abide by the guidelines set forth in the mortgage contract, he should find another lender. While I agree that some lenders charge ridiculous rates and fees, the tell you all of that up front. This housing mess could have been avoided if people were more responsible and reasonable with their money and budgets. That being said, if someone is "displaced" by foreclosure, he wouldn't really have a mortgage payment to make any longer.

I didn't much care for the Windstar. The Freestar evovled to an even cheaper version.

The Aerostar I had was very durable. 250K miles and still ran well at trade-In. I coulndn't kill it even after 2 accidents.

I also hauled Trailers and very heavy Payloads. Yep it was an ugly truck, but served me well.

I even Hauled a giant Boiler in in the back after taking all the seats out. It was so heavy that I had to place a ramp on the rear bumper to slide it out. Amazingly, the Plastic bumper held the weight.

Rear-Drive Fords are simply over-built.

When I bought the Aerostar, I was worried that I was buying an econo-box, it far surpassed the econobox Theroy. Funny how the definition of an Ecno-box has sinced changed compared only a decade ago.
