2009 Ford F-150 named Best Redesigned Vehicle for 2009
The 2009 Ford F-150 was named the Best Redesigned Vehicle for 2009 by Kelley Blue Book. The kbb.com editors said that the 2009 Ford F-150 is more powerful, efficient, refined and tech-laden than its predecessor.

Ford’s F-Series received the award about 5 years ago making it the first repeat winner after taking the title for 2009. The top 10 list also included the Acura TL, Mazda6, Honda Fit and Audi A4 (you can see the full list after the jump).

Don't hate because they respect talent and passion

I respect taking big risk. And that's Acura did.

But they took a shot in the dark and hit an innocent bystander.

I have seen better redesigns from a person that has gone through plastic surgery.

I have to agree with the F-150 being the best redesign and who knows, maybe one will end up in my driveway.

The redesign is very nice. I didn't think the dash evolved to a better idea. The previous dash had nicer cosmetics. I do look forward to the mahogony door panels. Most trucks today have ugly black and silver plastic everywhere. Camel with wood is nicer.

The Platinum Series is very Luxurious for a Truck.

The F-150 is a good size all-around truck that is still athletic enough to drive for everyday. Great Hauling and Cargo capacity as well.

I'm mainly interested in a 2 whell drive though. 4x4 is not the most efficient way to go, and gave Ford Truck a bad stigma. I special ordered a 2005 F-150 2 wheel drive 5.4L V8 with a 3.55 rear end, medium 6 ft box. It was geared nicely for the highway and was great on gas. People don't belive me though, because most were dumb enough to buy whatever was on the lot and people bought 4x4 models geared low for pulling stumps and primarily drove them in city driving. Go figure, I guess most people are just impulse buyers.

I hear Ford plans to eventually build the F-150 with a Diesel. Honestly I like the robust looks of the F-250 better, maybe I'll get a very short box and single cab diesel. The Chrome front and Headlights look quite handsome.

It is always improving, and finally it comes with an off road package, the Rapture! Unfortunately they only went half way with that.I would probably go with the standard F-150 and modify it myself instead of there half way off road package for probably big $$$, Although head and shoulders above the competition!

It runs around $45k, its no hillbilly truck. Have you ever really driven an F150? Very nice drive, my moms friend who drives a TL drove my 2004 FX4 supercrew F150 and she said it drove better than her TL. true story

well im not much of a ford man. but the 2009 look's a heck of a lot better than they did a few years a go. im a chevy man love the front of the 2009 chevy but the side's look like crap. the new 2009 dodge look's sharp. but everything else on the truck is junk.

There will always be the Chev vs Ford, but come on, you have no information stating why this truck is junk, have you seen truck bed bounce on you-tube? There is no denying that the F-150 blew the Toyota and Chey away hands down! These are non bias facts, the Chev isn't as tough as the Ford, you may not want to see it if you want to continue blindly loving your chevs. And if you want something pretty why don't you drive a cross over? Trucks aren't supposed to look pretty, then again what ever makes you happy, I'll stick to performance.lol

It is so nice to see some of the old Ford designs redone, with modern tec.. I have a 2003 F-250 Superduty, and it remines me of the 1953 modle year. this F-150 remines me of the 1949 F-1. Keep up the good work. And I have driven the best built amercan cars.
