2009 HURST/Hemi-Challenger: details and pricing announced
It was announced just recently by renowned and respected Hurst Performance Vehicles company that details and pricing for its new 2009 HURST/Hemi-Challenger are now available. The Challenger, which was inaugurated at the SEMA Show early this year, proves to me more than just your regular muscle vehicle. It has become the very symbol of the performance industry’s tradition of getting the top product of Detroit and adds to it 21st century performance components to create a faster, cooler and more collectible ride.

I don't think I would ever buy a Challenger, but this looks really hot.

The all black SRT8 is actually pretty hot. That'd be the only color worth buying it in.

Chrysler probable never heard of weight reduction. I bet a stock Evo 10 MR or the FQ 360 will equal the performance of this car in straight line acceleraton probable all the way up to stage 3 or 4. Do I need to mention handling.

This vehicle is not competing with the likes of EVO and the likes, it is a reinvention of the 60s and 70s muscle car wherein the main objective is kick in the back acceleration and pray you don't go sideways.

Veyron, you were late this time----you usually are the first to post about a challenger.

Have any of you driven this car?

I own one, and I love it. I work on every brand imaginable, and can afford much more expensive vehicles but this one is for me. I love the looks I get in it, I love the ride, and I LIKE the interior.

We just did a gt-r and while it was sitting in our parking lot, my challenger was parked on the grass. Which do you think gathered the biggest crowd? Not the import.

You talk about performance being the biggest factor in your purchase decision, but where are you gonna drive it? Stoplight to stoplight? How many people actually drive on a racetrack? This is a great daily driver that is actually FUN to drive.

thats cheap pricing for that kind of power!
I havent driven any of the challengers, so i cannot make a full assessment, but it would be cool as a 2nd car.
