Buh-bye 750 and A8! Detailed photos of the 2007 S-Class-Part 1

Here are the most detailed photos yet of the next S-Class, hitting US shores early next year.

The Spies predict that the new Mercedes S-series will severely impact sales of the BMW 7-series and Audi A8 once it is available.

The new S is more beautiful inside and out and is a technological tour de force.

Dealers in the US are already reporting to us waiting lists are starting to build in anticipation of its arrival.

The wheelwells and trunk just suck beyond belief...Maybaching the S just doesn't work in my book. If you want to be chauffeured around, fine, but if I'm driving I'll take an A8 or 7 any day of the week over the new S.

It's really nice looking but unfortunately, it will be in the shop most of the time. I know, I had one.
My A8 just keeps on ticking though.

It will be because MB will make 10 different variants, from an inline 6, to some useless 800hp blown 12.

Anyone who bashed the rear of the 745 and now praises this car needs to look again-----the rear end is a total ripoff of the e65/66 BMW's. From the Raised trunklid edges, to the wraparound tail lights, to the thin piece of chrome connecting them, this rear could have been penned by Chris Bangle.

It only gets worse at the front, where they decided to source their front fenders from Mitsubishi----horrible looking, and absolutely counter to the "air of class" this car is supposed to project.

I am happy to see that they have found a use for the wheels from the 1994-95 Acura Legend GS, wouldn't want them sitting in some junkyard.

This isn't even the best looking S class ever, and once MB does their typical routine of treating 1st year buyers as guinea pigs, the poor quality stigma this car will have should really bury it.

No wonder 001 is hyping this car up so much. Check out item #50 in today's newsletter. Must be a good feeling to know that your word and your credibility can be bought and sold.

This MB S Class is not as good,shocking,dashing,elegent,sexy,sharp,appeling.....etc
as before were, like from early 90s till current model.

But it is a good replacement though not tooo bad and not too good.

This can also be called as Maybach 48 or 50.HAHAHAHA

I do think by copying Maybach they attracted more consumers,as the lover of Maybachs but can't afford one can now do, but with the badges of Mercedes instead of Maybach.(Point to be noted)

They very well increased the position and status of MBs flagship but reduced the $350K Maybach's.

As MB itself came near to their ultra luxury car Maybach which they said was unparallel in the world in it's segment.

Who will gonna buy a 3 times expensive Maybach over a S NOW...As they look almost same only the difference will be in badges and wheelbase.
Other every thing is same both interiors are good in their own way.

I think we wasn't bashing MB this much if their interior were not Copyied from BMW and Audi.We will accept it's styling. But now we got chances to bash the world's flagship luxury car....

So please..................
