First look at the third row seat in the Audi Q7
It's great that there is a third seat in the new Audi but it still looks pretty tight.

but enough for my dog to sit and sleep.
Audi.....what is the use of tis third row seating.
I am sure if anyone is buying Q7 will not be beacus of it's third row seats.
The person who wants to buy Q7 rally don't care of third seats.He/She will buy with or without it.
Audi What u think we r mad who will buy Q7 for it's third row seats only......
I think Cayenne Turbo will be better in performance than any of Q7.

Why third row seats are essential in a midsize SUV u tell me?
What u think Cayenne,Toureg.. people r mad that they didn't put a third row seating in a mid size suv.Or they were unable to do so.
Q7 is basically a mid size luxo/sports suv which really don't require third row seats as it will become too tight and the luxury will not be felt much by the passengers of all rows.
Audi should remove that cheap looking seats and should use the extra 6 inches of wheelbase with other equipments and stuff.
ESF, Audi is also 1 of my favourite brand but what they have done to Q7 is sicknenig.
1)It's rear is a copy paste of A6.
2)Lights are so dull
3)Pointless lights(reflectors)in the rear bumpers
4)abnormal back door opening frame.
5)engines r not very performing.
6)Front view is ok with some minor.....but satisfactory.
7)AND yeah seats r too tight for 2nd and 3rd row,i don't think that 7 adults can be adjusted in a Q7, as Audi says....
Other all cars of Audi r fine but r competable unlike Toyota/Lexus.

The third row seat is essential for those young families wanting the extra seating (that would be me). If you don't want the third row stop whining and get it without it. It seems that this will be an option.
I agree that the interior is awesome (as in the A6). I also think that the exterior is distinctive and sporty. The concept vehicle had extra features that made it look sporty. Hopefully some of these will make it to the Sport or S versions down the road.
Other great features include,
1.external lighting (3 options available!!)
2.powerful engines, specially the RS4 V8!!! (good starting point for an SUV V8
3.incredible sunroof
I currently own an FX35, but will transition into a Q7 (V8, V8 hybrid?, V10?) with third row seating when my lease expires and as my family grows. Can't wait for my all Audi driveway! (Also own a 2.7T).

I own an FX35 and an Audi 2.7T. As my family grows I will transition from the FX to the Q7 (V8, V8 hybrid?, V10?). The FX is the best performing SUV in the V6 category with the best price but it can't match the interior style and quality of the Audi. If the Q7 would have been introduced a year or two earlier, I would not have an FX. There are many people like me with a growing family who want a sporty and good looking SUV that also offers the extra seating room. You can't have a FULL-size SUV with sporty handling, that's why the medium-size Audi is PERFECT!
If you don't like the third row seating then stop whining and opt out of the option!
The Q7 is yet another great inside/outside success for Audi in design/styling/quality of materials/fit/ease of use/practicality.
Hopefully the sportier versions (Sport package, S, RS) will carry some of the external features shown on the concept version.

Hey guys i am pretty sure that Q7 will get a V10 and W12 engine maybe from Toureg lately.
But now even their 4.2 V8 has got 350 hp under the hood compare to cayenne turbo's 450 hp.
Now tell me which is more sporty,performing...and even i think that Q7 V10 will get 430-440 hp but will not cross Cayenne Turbo's 450hp.
So....apart from seating it's engines are also thumbs-down.
