WEB RAGE FRIDAY? 001 Goes Soft Because It's Christmas!

WEB RAGE FRIDAY? 001 Goes Soft Because It's Christmas!
The last few weeks we've been having fun with our WEB RAGE FRIDAY theme and although I've asked everyone to talk about what they like or dislike on ANY subject, most people are only whining.

So this week, because Christmas is just a few days away, I thought I'd do the double reverse and ask you to cheer up everyone in the recession/depression...Wait, let's do an Obama to make everything better and call this the NEW ECONOMY.

Doesn't that feel better?

NOTHING has changed, but it sure makes ME feel better calling it that, instead of the recession/depression.

Post your comments on WHATEVER is on your mind that is GOOD and uplifting.

We all need to hear everything is going to be ok!

And it doesn't have to be just about cars although that subject makes the most sense here...Voice your opinion on anything GOOD that's happened this week in in vogue.

Please just keep it clean and be respectful.

Have at it boys and girls!

And remember this week it's ALL about the love!

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah, etc. etc. etc.

Enjoy whatever holiday you celebrate and thank you from ALL your friends at AutoSpies.com for your loyalty!

I LOVE the great Christmas tunes playing in the car and the way Vanessa Williams sings them!

Awesome!

And that traditional Sicilian seafood Christmas Eve dinner at my place!

THE best!

But my favorite Christmas mystery, is how in a crazy world, do they get EVERYONE to be reasonable for 24 hours and not do ANYTHING incredible stupid?

Even countries at war.

A 24 hours we should all be thankful for and humbled by, because of the greater power that is at work.

And lastly, I'm thankful for ALL of you and the freedom we have to do THIS for our livings!

Lucky you. Any new car on Christmas is worthy of a boost. Even a Dodge Caliber...

Maybe not a Dodge Caliber. That'll be similar to receiving coal. Lol

Inaccurate weather forecasters!!!!

I mean I'm not gonna beat you up for getting the 5-7 day outlook wrong but I mean same day... C'mon I mean you went to college for this.

Now I'm outside looking like a tool with ski gear on in 50-60 degree weather with sunny skies when you said it was going to snow!!!

I think nobody knows how to drive except for me!

Worst Drivers:
Asians
*you cant turn left from the far right lane and then laugh after you almost kill someone!!
Soccer moms
*Get off the damn phone when driving a 4 ton SUV
Honda Civic/Evo drivers
*That loud muffler that sounds like a fart doesnt mean you can go any faster
Mr. Moms in Mini Vans
*Dude-midlife crisis? Just do yourself a favor and get a convertible BMW.
Hacidic Jews
*You have your whole family in the car...and you weave in and out of traffic like the car is stolen...at least turn on your signals

Ok, i'm done venting.

Merry Christmas everyone!

I always get a good laugh at guys (usually Hispanic) that are driving 10 year old Civics with huge fart cans, three 18" "sport rims" and one spare, and with massive spoilers on the back (didn't realize FWD econoboxes need additional downforce).

Someone needs to tell them the following: "You aren't cool. You aren't driving a sports car. And putting a ton of money into upgrades on your ten year old car that is worth less than the bodykit you haphazardly installed isn't the smartest financial decision."

KUDOS to agent 001. Don you are one of the coolest and positive guys on the internet. I really appreciate you. I've been visiting your site for about a year now and started reading some of the blogs. Man, talkin about flame throwers. Some of these guys use their opinions like rocket fuel. Nevertheless, this is a great site for realistic views and positive opinions. As for the auto wanabes and the real McCoys alike, myself included, Jesus is the real reason for the season. As agent001 has declared, show some love. Peace out...

Thank you for the nice compliments!

It's because of you readers that I can be so positive.

You allow me to do what I love best!

I'm thankful for the flame throwers as well because in the end the internet equalizes everything and I enjoy reading both sides.

Helps give me insight to the market and what these manufacturers face.

Have a great Christmas and Happy New Year!

FYI, this was a holiday season long before the Christian church hijacked it. Please let everyone enjoy their holiday season equally without any proselytizing. It's free and fair country for everyone! Happy Holidays!!!

Hey Mike. Such a mean and supposedly un-christian and hateful tone you have. I love that you decided to quote one of my favorite atheists, Mark Twain!!! Here are some more quotes for Mark Twain (and BTW, the the "christmas" tree comes from pagan traditions and does the date of christmas and "under god" was was added to the pledge in the 1954 during the red scare).

Mark Twain!

"Faith is believing something you know ain’t true."

"If Christ were here now there is one thing he would not be -- a Christian."

"It (the Bible) is full of interest. It has noble poetry in it; and some clever fables; and some blood-drenched history; and some good morals; and a wealth of obscenity; and upwards of a thousand lies."

"A man is accepted into a church for what he believes and he is turned out for what he knows."

"Our Bible reveals to us the character of our god with minute and remorseless exactness... It is perhaps the most damnatory biography that exists in print anywhere. It makes Nero an angel of light … by contrast."

"I cannot see how a man of any large degree of humorous perception can ever be religious -- unless he purposely shut the eyes of his mind & keep them shut by force."

"If there is a God, he is a malign thug."

"'In God We Trust.' I don't believe it would sound any better if it were true."

"It ain't the parts of the Bible that I can't understand that bother me, it is the parts that I do understand."

"Man is a marvelous curiosity . . . he thinks he is the Creator's pet . . . he even believes the Creator loves him; has a passion for him; sits up nights to admire him; yes and watch over him and keep him out of trouble. He prays to him and thinks He listens. Isn't it a quaint idea." [Letters from the Earth]

Mr. Clemens was once asked whether he feared death. He said that he did not, in view of the fact that he had been dead for billions and billions of years before he was born, and had not suffered the slightest inconvenience from it.

- Samuel Clemens "Mark Twain", American author and humorist (1835-1910).

I have to agree with A6, I am a Quality Control Manager at a dealership and I went on a drive with a very nice cute Asian girl last month and I only almost lost my life twice during the short drive we took!! I drive cars a lot during the day and I get cut off everyday!! We all need to drive more carefully, it is amazing what people are doing on the roads these days. Cell phones are the enemy for sure, bluetooth seems to make a positive difference in that situation for sure as you keep both hands on the wheel. The poor weather really puts a spin on things as well. Anyway, I hope everyone has a safe and happy Holiday Season!!
