The Germans need to direct inject all of their engines.... no questions asked.

GM is moving their entire engine lineup to direct injection... CMon Mercedes/BMW... Iknow you guys are working towards this but still. If GM can do it, Germany can too.

Chuck, you need to shut up with that VQ engine. You're becoming a douche, and I hate to use that word.

Mercedes and BMW have been making diesel cars for years and since this is more common in diesel engines I bet its implemented to the cars for quite some time with that option. GM is wasting money if they do it to their truck and suv.

they have direct injection since the Gullwing! The current CGI direct injection is quite different then the DI you see in cars today. Most cars use a side wall type DI, the MB CGI can attentuate the fuel flow during the injection cycle. this translate to awesome torque and fuel economy!

I was never fully impressed by the rear end of the CLS, definitely not "beautiful." I know that's not a popular statement, but its how I feel and I also think its overpriced.

Will this car even be sold in America? Also isn't the CGI 3.5 the one used in the SLK? If so my question is why hasn't that engine filtered up through the rest of the line? Especially the C350, CLS and that horrible GLK?
