Toyota's president refuses 2009 Detroit Auto Show invite
Toyota’s President Katsuaki Watanabe, a regular at the North American International Auto Show will not be attending the show next month in Detroit. Toyota did not comment on Watanabe’s immediate change of plans.

Toyota’s presence at the 2009 Detroit Auto Show will be very significant. The company plans on unveiling the next-generation Toyota Prius Hybrid as well as a dedicated hybrid model for its luxury Lexus brand.

Infiniti doesn't need a damn auto show. The next Q-Failure will be touring the entire dealership network on the back of a flatbed truck.

When it arrives at each lot, there will be a fantastic barbeque party, because Nissan is keeping it real!

Yep, look at'em. Just trimming away at the fat(excessive spending). Calculating their way right through the storm. Man I'm telling ya. Toyota has got a game plan they know things will get worse before it gets better. I'am sure they'll be keeping their eyes on Obama and the dems over the next 4 yrs. I believe Obama may suprise us and turn out to be a wise president. That's what I'm hoping and praying because he inherited one hell of a mess. It will be one sad day if our automakers go under. Greed and poor overall quality makes 2 strikes. We dont need that 3rd strike.
