Teaser: 2009 Alpina B7 ready to rumble… soon!

Alpina is like the second older brother for Bmw, after the M division. Known as a high-quality tuner since 1965, Alpina modified almost all the vehicles produced by the German manufacturer and with the launch of the 2009 Bmw 7-Series they decided to adopt this new luxury sedan and transform it into a mean sports car.

Based on the Bmw 750i, the new Alpina B7 will feature the well-known front lip fitted with the Alpina logo, a rear trunk spoiler and a new set of multi-spoke alloy wheels. Although the exterior doesn’t offer too much, the big surprise will under the hood were we expect 500+ hp due to the fact that the 2007 model of the B7 had 500 hp and could hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 4.8 seconds.

Thank you Alpina for doing what BMW should do in giving us the closest thing to an M7 to compete with the S63 and S8

oh Damn NOW THATS WHAT THE HELL IM TALKING ABOUT RIGHT THERE. what I think BMW should do is put that 10 cylinder in there and call it the M7 because all you BMW fans already know your waiting for an M7. and whether BMW will take the 10 or the 12 Cylinder engine and let the M-Division get a hold of it...it will be a monster to compete with in every way,shape, and form. But Alpina never seems to fail me so I know the NEW B7 will be nothing short of spectacular.

Finaly an option against the S63...and because it will be light, it will handle with an small advantage over the Benz ...
