Suzuki’s SUVasaurus Enters the Wrong Period
Suzuki’s latest advertising efforts are centering around the “Live Large. Drive Small” advertising campaign, which kicked off with the SUVasaurus commercial. Seems import SUVs keep getting bigger, while people keep asking the big 3 to build smaller.

People will always need cargo capacity with kids and sporting events. Its the American way, we need more room to buy all that needless junk from the big box retailers.

Suzuki builds a nice SUV for an outstanding price, but it is tough to get parts for them. They don't have the distribution network like Motorcraft, MOPAR or ACDelco.

I want to pick my parts up same day, not have something ordered and shipped.

This was the sole reason to make me think twice about Suzuki.

I rode thier Dirtbikes when I was a kid. They make good stuff, no question.

I agree. Imports are increasing in size just as the domestics are. Though the domestics have been slow to provide quality small(er) cars, it should be recognized that the imports have products in each large car/truck/SUV category too.

OK, Toyota has the Corolla & Prius. Should be ignore the Tundra, Sequoia, and Land Cruiser? Honda has the Civic, Fit, upcoming Insight. Should we ignore the Pilot and Ridgline? Should we ignore the Nissan Titan, Armada, and Pathfinder? I haven't.

I like that Suzuki is a small company trying to compete a bit with new models and partnerships with other companies.
