I would put my money on the NSX being cancelled. We will know very shortly when the NAIAS begins.

Ford, GM and Chrysler should go bankrupt and give the American tax payers their money back.

Bush has destroyed the world economy but that brainless monkey will not be in charge much longer. Honda needs to grow some balls and make this thing.

DinamoR-

Actually it was the Democrats that destroyed the mortgage industry in America.

Remember it's big Lib Barney Frank that's in charge of Fannie Mae and handing out interest only loans to people that had nu business buying homes.

Bush on the other is the guy that beat the crap out of the Taliban and gave freedom to 26 million Muslims in Iraq.

Now what bamy boy gonna do?

Good Heavens EL34,

Do you even read the news? The Taliban were never in Iraq, they were running Afghanistan, where Al Qaeda was and where we are struggling, just listen to the generals. Iraq had no Al Qaeda, and no Taliban.

Barney Franks didn’t cause the market collapse, deregulation did and it was a joint effort of both parties. If you’re looking for the guilty party for that, look no further than Texan Phil Gram. He spearheaded the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, which repealed part of the Glass-Steagel act from the depression, loosening bank, finance and insurance regulations.Gramm was also one sponsers of Commodity Futures Modernization Act of 2000 referred to as the "Enron loophole". Both bills of deregulation.
Do you know what caused the Great Depression? leverage. Do you know what’s causing this financial mess where in now? leverage.
If you really want to depress yourself Google CDS (credit default swaps) derivatives, their the problem. There are thought to be 1.3 trillion in U.S. subprime mortgages out their. There are estimated to be between 45 – 62.2 trillion dollars of CDS out there. Their devaluation and unanswered calls are what lead to this financial melt down. I could go into excruciating detail about our current crises but it all sums up to this, the underling cause;, DEREGULATION, HUBRIS, and GREED.

OK enough on the political jargon...so does this mean there is still hope yet for the NSX??? Why would Honda bring it to the Detroit Show if they had decided to have no intentions of building it? Or maybe it will be their LF-A, a car we will see for like two or three years then it may finally make it to market?

I'd guess that it is still up in the air. They want to see how much interest they get. If things go well I could see it going to production a few years later than originally intended.

Honda moved out of F1 racing to save money, so why would they want to invest in building a flagship sports car that embodied that racing heritage???

Why can't Honda just make an announcement? Its like being unsure if you are seriously ill or just ill.

They are not like Ford exaggerating the 2010 mustang saying its all new and improved when its a 2008 with a few accessories.
