Black is a good colour, if you are buying a hearse. Just like white is a good colour if you are buying a delivery van.

But for people who want to drive their own car, something other than a hearse black or a delivery van white would be good.

RR's are fabulous.

I have Obsidian Black Metallic on my S550 and it looks amazing after many washes.

BeautyQueen: One of my cars happen to be the LS. But it will not be the standard of the world. It's got some good features but boring looks will not be the standard of the world. Cars are moving forward and with boring designs it's just going backwards in time.

My favorite design in Lexus is still the Lexus GS (Previous gen and the current). The SC430 is a designers nightmare and the LS is a little too conservative for it's price but I didn't buy it for the pizazz but more for the price. I got my S550 for $125,000 and my LS for $95,000. Big difference there but in my opinion the S is still a benchmark in its segment. Mercedes can change whatever they want for an S Class and consumers will still buy it. The current generation is my favorite and the attention to detail is barnone. The LS is a good car and I drive it 60% of my time but it won't ever win a beauty pageant.

The standard of what? Oh you mean the standard Poorly engineered, highly boring, and useless vehicles that are just a rip off when you can buy a Toyota?
