Audi R8 V10 coming with LED lamp clusters as typical gear
Audi started making available an optional all-LED headlamp cluster on its R8 sports car last spring as a $5,600 option. The latest Audi R8 V10 that was made public in early December will integrate these LED lamp clusters as typical gear. The new R8 V10 is the initial vehicle on the planet to receive LEDs for both its high and low beams.

The LEDs employ only one quarter of the energy of the regular halogen lamps and Audi anticipates that energy consumption to fall by another half over the following decade. That constitutes a remarkable lowering in electrical load on the vehicle.

I thought Audi was quite clear in stating that ALL lighting is LED, Meaning interior and exterior. Not just the headlights.

It outsold the Lamborghini Gallardo and the Bugatti Veyron by an even larger margin! So therefore the ES is a better car.

Logic of Lexus fans.

Is that even in the same league? If its anything like a lexus here in the UK, it shouldnt even be in the same paragraph as an R8?

I have never seen full LED head lights but the LED lights I have seen are not as good as HIDs.

I wish I waited for the V10 but my V8 is still very potent and a pleasure to drive. I guess I can say I was one of the first to ever own one in Canada so that's a good thing to know.
