Audi preparing mystery concept for 2009 NAIAS

There are speculations about Audi’s intentions at its pronouncement to introduce the 517 hp Audi R8 V10 sports car together with a new mystery concept next week at the NAIAS. Whether Audi is just trying to get more media mileage or there is really a new concept is anybody’s guess.

However, it has succeeded in revving up more interest – and more speculations. If the mystery concept is the A7, which is the direct rival of the Merc CLS, then there’s really no surprise there as it has already been reported to be display-ready and is equipped with 4WD and either a V6 or V8 option.

Audi will present the R8 V10, the A7 concept, and possibly a diesel A4 or some other powertrain.
