2009 Geneva Motor Show: Protoscar Lampo electric roadster
The latest aerodynamic roadster called Lamp from Protoscar is said to be propelled by two electric motors (one in front for regenerative braking and the other at the rear for acceleration) and claims to generate 268 hp and 325lb-ft of torque and the latter is had from 0 rpm.

Charging its 35 kWh Lithium-Ion batteries poses no problem for the car since outlets in continental Europe offer as standard 220V nuclear electricity charges unlike in the US where the standard outlet is 110V.

All this car needs is near or equal performance and be 10k cheaper and most people wouldnt give a second look towards tesla.
