It almost makes every other dashboard control system look dated.

I think it pretty nice for Mb to come with this design but one problem; most people drive look in front of them Not at the gage panel or do they? I agree with hotdog, use the high beam.

It's a nice screen but there are two things I don't like about it:

1. Much smaller than actual view. You have to have your near sighted glasses on (if you need them) if you want to see anything in front.
2. It's location in the middle of the steering is somewhat suitable for straight linie driving only, so forget about using it while turning at night.

If they can create a USABLE HUD (not a mini screen) in front of the windshield or even better, make the entire windshield the HUD, then I will consider the option. Otherwise, it's not a very valuable option to me.
