Chrysler 200 C EV Concept: ShockinglyAttractive Mid-Size Sedan
The Chrysler 200C EV Concept is a rolling test bed for Chrysler’s future uconnect in-car computer and communication device. It also connects directly to an iPhone, allowing you to preprogram the temperature, lock the doors, allow you to view an in-car camera remotely (pervy parents rejoice) and track the car’s location live via GPS – all straight from the iPhone.

Kinda infiniti-ish. Wonder if its a result of their partnership with Nissan. Bring it out tomorrow!!!

This would be a nice design direction for Chrysler. Cars like this could save them.

I say build it. It can't be any worse than that crap they call a Sebring. I say keep the 200 moniker as well because calling it a Sebring would effectively kill it. On another note, this car must also be rear drive. Some way, some how, Chrysler must find a way to drive the rear wheels. That's a big selling point these days. Offering it in all wheel drive as an alternative to front drive will not help either. Recall the success of the Ford Five Hundred and the Jaguar X-Type. Abysmal at best. Chrysler needs to find something to set itself apart from the pack. Converting to a full rear-drive configuration for their cars is a good starting point. Cadillac (the first Luxury manufacturer to entertain and defend front drive from as far back as the 1950s) did just that and look at them today. They are mixing it up with the big boys. Look at Hyundai and the Genesis. They are collecting Car of the Year awards. Chrysler was, lest we forget, once a competitor to Cadillac, Lincoln, and Buick.

I do like this design direction. Much better than what they have going for them currently. This vehicle, of course priced appropriately, should come in and beat up the camry pretty convincingly.

If you work for Chrysler and are reading this (as you seriously should - if you want to know what your potential customer base thinks), please forward this message along with the others to executives of the company: For one, this is a beautiful car! Make it - NOW! Don't water it down ONE BIT! Here are some other tips that could turn the image of Chrysler around within the next 3-5 years: Kill the Sebring. It's name doesn't carry ANY equity whatsover. Take the Chrysler 300 upmarket in size, quality and content as an alternative to the S/7/LS. Poise the Chrysler 200 as an E/5/GS competitor. Create a Chrysler 100 and put it head-to-head with the C/3/IS. Don't rebadge any of them as Dodges and for crying out loud... don't sell out to Hertz! After you create these cars (hopefully with hybrid and/or diesel RWD), advertise the hell out of them as the NEW Chrysler. You can do it! You were once a mighty brand and you're just dying on us. We're rooting for you!

This concept is based on a smaller platform than the 300. Look at the size of it compared to the driver. The Phoenix V6 will be the largest engine of offer for this model. The next 300 will have a V8.

Looks like a copy of the G from Infiniti. Not bad. Maybe thats what Chrysler needs to do...start copying other cars....the 300 was successful with it's "copy" of the Bentley grill ( I never thought it looked anything like a Bentley )

This Chrysler looks like Opel Insignia...
