Audi RS5 Carving up the Nurburgring

This video reportedly shows footage of the new Audi RS5 being tested on the Nurburgring. While there's no apparent disguise, could this pass for an S5? What do you think?

What ripping? Its tire is noisy and the car still doesn't seem to go that fast.

W/ this tire I bet you RS5, like M3, in the hand of Horst von Saurma, cannot touch 8 min barrier. It needs better/quieter tire.

Sounds like this tester has DSG, it really revs up high! Its sounds more like a big NA engine than a twin turbo V-8

No, that's a TTV8- Stephen Reil, head of Quattro Gmbh has already confirmed this as the powerplant. That being said once the RS5 debuts the M3 will no longer be the standard. Expect a 0-60 of 3.8 sec's...500+ HP and insane handling....

definitively sounds like a V8, close to RS4/R8 engine but maybe with a higher pitch. So as far as V8 Audi goes, we could see a 4.2 N/A, we could see a 4.2 TTurbo or maybe, maybe we could see a 4.0 V8 supercharged. The latter being my wish. We shall wait and see my friends...
