Ford becoming the second big european brand
The new Ford Fiesta which outsold Opel helped Ford inch its way toward second place next to Vw, receives approval from the head of marketing, sales, and service of Ford Europe, Ingvar Sviggum. The increased sales volume has helped Ford to boost its European market share up by 1.0 percent making it to the current 8.6 percent.

The scramble toward second best seller place in Europe has ended up into a battle between American owned brands.

if ford can bring the ka, focus(euro)hatch and coupe/cabrolet, fiesta,mondeo, kuga ,transit connect and van and add it f series line up that they have here

i think they would be #2 in North America too or mabey #1 with a couple of hybrids

I cant imagine they'd be #1 in America.... they're V8's suck and there's way too many Big3 buyers who won't buy Ford. However, if they could steal sales from the imports... then you might have a point!!
