Audi and Prada join forces...Audi R8 Prada Edition??

Audi and Prada have formed a partnership that will allow both brands to hook up on "joint projects in the areas of sport and culture." This partnership effectively links Audi, the German luxury brand know for its innovative designs with Prada, the Italian status symbol in the world of high-fashion clothing. Audi and Prada will work together in 2009 and will link their logos together at high-profile events. First out of the box is a sporting event in February. The two will jointly sponsor the yacht "Luna Rossa" during the Louis Vuitton Pacific Series — thus stacking brand name upon brand name.

"Audi and Prada are strong brands," said Peter Schwarzenbauer, Audi AG board of management member for marketing and sales. "We aim to pool these strengths and build up a long-term partnership." \

Maybe the Devil won't be the only thing wearing Prada. Did someone say Audi R8 Prada Edition? With this partnership now formed, maybe the R8 will be wearing Prada too! The perfect combination of German design outiftted in custom Italian threads.....

Oh please yourself Chucky. If it was a Nissan and Prada you would be supporting it and we all know that.

I was thinking GAP and Nissan would be better. Prada and prestige brands match, not your beloved Nissan 370GT.

I know Armani did one for Mercedes a while back ago. Prada is now doing it for Audi? Dang...can't wait for Levi's to do one for chevrolet...wrangler for Ford.
