Chrysler offering employee pricing on all 2008 and 2009 models
Hoping to come back from a 30 percent decline in U.S. sales last year, Chrysler announced today that it is offering employee pricing on all 2008 and 2009 models. In addition to the employee price, customers will be eligible for cash discounts of up to $3,500 for 2009 models and up to $6,000 on 2008 models. Zero percent financing is available for up to 48 months.

The program, which kicks off on Monday Jan. 26, will include a national advertising campaign.

There are still currently at least 3 2008 Challenger SRT8s within 90 miles of my location in Iowa. Asking price is ~$43k for all of 'em. WOW, HOT SELLER! There are a few 2009s around too. It is like the dealers are there to collect the cars, rather than sell 'em.

BSBB- Employee pricing is USUALLY right at invoice, or right around it. When I worked for FORD, it was I think 1.5% under invoice for an employee. That was years ago. Plus you get a chance to use the Special rates or rebates. PS, take the money over the rates...
