the point here is simple. This car is meant a family of 4 who travel on 2-wheelers. People who have visited India, know what I'm talking about. This car is well on it's way to become the no.1 selling car in India, and it's gas mileage- 50 mpg or more. It's less polluting that a 2-wheeler and it is safer than a 2-wheeler as well. This car makes no sense in the U.S, just like how a gas-guzzling (15-20 mpg)pickup truck won't make sense in India. Wait, a 15 mpg pickup trucks doesn't make sense anywhere else that the U.S :D

Yep, 1UAW, no other country in the world has plumbers, carpenters, mechanics,...(I) can keep going but (I) guess you get my point (by) now. True, those are the most practical applications, but at least 6 cyl diesel engines would be more practical still.

On the Nano, for its target, it is amazing. I'm a bit surprised that VW hasn't adjusted/reinvented the Beetle as a Nano competitor. The Nano is the new Beetle.

You people won't understand the purpose of this vehicle but it makes perfect sense in a country like India were everyone drives small cars, and the population is huge and mostly poor.
