Seat Leon Twin Drive Ecomotive Concept revealed
The Leon Twin Drive Ecomotive hybrid concept by Seat was revealed at the firm’s Martorell Research and Development facility near Barcelona, Spain. This hybrid concept will be the foundation of a production vehicle that might see the light of day in 2014.

Production models of the Twin Drive hybrid will have a pure-electric driving capability in urban areas with an internal combustion engine (most probably diesel-powered) for longer journeys.

Brilliant. Not that hard to figure out that a diesel motor with a full hybrid setup is one of the best solutions to getting more mileage. Now lets just make it with bio-diesel (the kind now made from corn cob waste not from actual corn kernels.)
