BMW X6 M spotted in L.A.

VODCars photographer Jason Thorgalsen and FastLaneDaily bring us new photos of the BMW X6 M, the somewhat controversial vehicle that BMW will reveal in the fall. The BMW X6 M was spotted this time in Los Angeles.

The X6 M will have the V8 M Turbo Engine with twin scroll turbo chargers, an enhanced engine, superior to the one found in the X6 xDrive50i.The engine is rumored to output 580 horsepower making the X6 M a true performance model.

The BMW X6 M will compete for the market with Porsche’s Cayenne Turbo and Mercedes-Benz’s ML63 AMG.

it's no more of an abomination than the Cayenne Turbo, ML63, etc. No one is using those as real SUV's either, they're all about performance, so I don't see anything wrong with a version that is capable of even more performance than those are. Unlike most folks on here who haven't even seen an X6, let alone driven one (or any other vehicle the X6 competes with), I actually spent the past weekend in an X6 xDrive50i, in the snow, and all I can say is "wow". The power and handling are nothing short of amazing, it's unbelievable what that thing can do. With 45% more hp and an ever better suspension on an M version, my guess is that "wow" will be upgraded to a "holy $hit".

No matter what the haters say, this thing will be a beast. I already love the looks of the X6. It really shines out of the crowd and looks very aggressive. This car might just be on my shopping list.

BMW fanboys are idiots. Look, I love cars and hold no bias to either side, I used to have a benz, now I have a beemer, next car will be a benz and the story will go on. But please how in god's name can you say the X6 is a good looking car! If that thing had a chevy badge on it, all you bmw fan boys would be laughing at it, and making fun of it, now that it says BMW it's a whole new game??? Please, get off BMW and be fair. BMW makes some beautiful cars i.e 1, 3, 7, but it also makes some junk i.e. z3, z4, x3, x6! Be realistic, just because you love something doesn't mean it does no wrong.

1st of all, I am no fanboy. I'm an owner of a beemer. 2nd of all, I like the looks of the X6 and that is my opinion. You might think it's ugly because its different, but I'll never call it ugly. It looks very athletic and sporty, exactly how its meant to be. And I don't think every BMW is beautiful. I hate the current Z4, I hate the current X3, and I'm not a big fan of the design of the 1 series either.
