2009 Ford F150 vs 2009 Toyota Tundra - Mechanicals
Part one of our comparison of the new 2009 F150 and the 2009 Toyota Tundra. While Ford's new F150 is the best F150 yet, we can't figure out why Ford decided not to invest in a new engine.

The F150 is one of the slowest trucks on the market today...but it's still pretty nice. The Tundra of course beats the F150 in terms of performance, and considering that power is such a big part of towing, it doesn't seem like the F150's advertised higher towing and payload ratings are all that meaningful.

Right from a Toyota fanboy site, gee I wonder who wins. Article is a biased waste of time.

Was that comment made before or after you read the article? The first part of the comparison is a dead tie.

After, it tells me how much better the Ford is if it tied on a Toyota propaganda site.

Toyota Tundra is just an oversized mini truck. Good quality but is still playing catch up to the three domestic brands. Go blue oval

Well, if Toyota tundra is so bad, how come it is the 1/2 ton truck with the best resale value according to kelley blue book?
Just plain math, and it is related to quality, reliability and durability.
my money goes to Toyota.

Can you even compare a the Chevy with the Tundra? Dodge Quality sucks. I think Ford has a great 09' truck. The Chevy has a pretty bad bed bounce also and under powered compared to Ford or Chevy so by saying the Tundra is catching up to the no three domestic is not true. (No longer the Big Three)

krackerhatesme.....Go where trucks are used for trucks. Alaska, State of washington and oregon [logging country] Texas [ Cattle ] etc. Its majority is DODGE then Ford Then Chevy. I dont see many Toyotas doing aything but the grocery store. The Dodge with a Cummins is the Best Damn Truck on the planet. And Toyota has a lot of catching up to do period
