GM exec caught talking smack about Toyota?

GM was showing the new Tahoe in Texas for the first time and during the presentation, one the GM execs started talking smack about arch rival Toyota.

Here is what Gary White, GM's vice president and line executive for full-size trucks said:

Taking a potshot at GM's new Texas rival, Toyota, which is building a plant in San Antonio to assemble full-size trucks, White said: "In initial quality, the Toyota Sequoia has never beaten a full-size GM SUV."

The Sequoia is Toyota's only full-size sport utility, and is based on the chassis of the company's Tundra full-size pickup, the next generation of which will be built in San Antonio beginning next year.

I wonder what Gary White would say about Toyota Sequoia's long term quality and reliability vs. any full-size GM SUV? The first 90 days does not a quality vehicle make!!

gm is garbage...my family has owned the olds silhouette since 1999...lemme tell u...this wuz possibly the worst investment in a van. toyota or honda would have been better. you know a car is garbage when the licensed technicians at the shop cannot find what is wrong with the traction control (and spend a week doing absolutely nothing on the car) and some small shop mechanic fixes it in 30 mins. now that is what u call NOquality vehicles. i think we have spent more on repairs for this car than we actually paid for the car.
