That is not shinny plastic and chrome it is polished platinum. I heard they also have the DNA from the trees Rolls uses and they will also steal the technology to have their logo stay the right way on their wheels! Sure it will start on this vehicle, but by 2012 the Accent will share the technology. Hyundai is the new Rolls without doubt.

Lets give credit to Hyundai. At least their trying to make strides in their brand image without really making bold and absurd claims. Their not claiming to be a Rolls Royce Phantom or Maybach (like some Japanese-American company). I think it's a great looking interior for a Hyundai. Their just starting off in the luxury segment and in 10-15 years you never know they could be way above brands like Acura and Infiniti (in many respects they already are).

Never say never because from the sketch and the spy shot this looks awesome. Only an arrogant s.o.b would say it's not.

The "Japanese-American company" never claimed that either. Journalists, including Jeremy Clarkson, made those claims all on their own.

I never said I believed it. You didn't hear me. I said JEREMY CLARKSON believed it when he wrote it while reviewing an LS. And the Maybach seats are a ripoff of 1st-class airliner seats, so as with the rest of your post, their resemblance is irrelevant.

Sailor - actually, they've only been making a good living for the past 5-7 years, 20 years ago, I don't think they were making much of a profit and their reputation sucked. But this new Equus seems to be promising and another homerun for them if its priced right.
