2010 Bmw 5-Series: new details revealed

2010 Bmw 5-Series: new details revealed
he Bmw 5-series led its series since the beginning and still remains an essential part of the company’s lineup, that’s the reason why there’s a heightened expectancy level for its next-generation version arriving late this year for the 2010 model year.

Fresh details which have filtered through show that much of the alterations intended for the car are cosmetic prior reports that said the 5-series will replace its body structure have been found incorrect as it will still come with the series’ polarizing appearance along with some derivatives of the CS concept. This seems to be a strange approach considering that the brand new 7-series have already distanced itself from that particularly controversial exterior to a more acceptable look. The new 5-series model could come with Dynamic Drive active anti-roll bars, 4-wheel steering and active dampers. Safety features could include a night-vision system, lane departure warning and active brake assist.

I know this is still a rendering, but all the Audi haters that say that all Audis look alike, don't tell me that THIS does not look like a 3 series!!

It does look like though...

If all of you AUDI D@CK RIDERS TAKE OFF YOUR BLU BLOCKERS AND READ THIS IS ONLY A RENDERING NOT THE REAL 5 SERIES. SOMEONE PHOTOSHOPPED THE 3 SERIES AND MADE IT BIGGER. YOU ARE SO READY TO CRITISIZE BMW YOUR NOT ACTUALLY PAYING ATTENTION.......YOU ARENT CAR ENTHUSIASTS YOUR AUDI ENTHUSIATS WHY DONT YOU GIVE THEM A CHANCE BEFORE YOU START BLURTING STUFF OUT YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT.

Don't you think that this is the rendering that just based on a 3 series?

Groundbreaking design! :)
Lets increase the dimensions of the 3 series and call it the 5. BMW your designs are growing boring. At least Benz, and Cadillac is going with designs that are edgy, new, functional, and creative.
Except - The new Z4 looks awesome!!! They finally got that one right.

you people are slow, first off the new 5 in every spy shot looks like a smaller 7 series, this rendering doesnt even match the spy shots that we all have seen countless times lol, BMW haters are pretty funny, next time get some facts to support, this clearly a 5 series and some other sedan put together, maybe they should have tried the Audi approach make the new generation look like the last except make every car look just like your entry level car in different sizes and not much different than the car it replaces.........total sarcasm if you cant figure that out

Your argument fails as every Cadillac looks exactly the same.

why don't BMW concentrate on making improvements instead of just new sheet metal... for example, why still use inferior MacPherson struts instead of superior double wishbone like in Lexus and Infiniti... don't you hear of all the complaints from customer who can't bear the bone jarring ride BMW's are known for?

They do, 3er, new 7er and X5. Please cite one review that has ever called the 5er ride "bone jarring", by the way the old "MacPherson strut" front end still out handles any lexus built.

Fictionalize elsewhere.

I thought they would put a twin-turbo V8 on the M5.

They put a BMW grille on others design and call it a BMW..

If I put twin kidney grills on a heaping pile of dog shit you people would fawn over it. It looks like a bloated 3 series, they ruined the greatest sedan ever built (E39) when they launched the E60.

Until I see the real deal, I wouldn't invest too much into this. The other rendering I saw showed an ANGRY 5 series look. Kthorn's right. This look like a LAZY photoshop job of a 3 series.
