All of Detroit’s Big 3 automakers will be skipping the opportunity to advertise during the Super Bowl on Sunday. General Motors decided back in September to skip the big game for the first time in 10 years. What’s the reason for not advertising during the game? I think that the ads are overpriced for many companies, but in certain cases, they can be more than worth the cost. They're certainly a unique type of ad tool. I'm glad that the big three won't be there, because I think they don't know how to use the ads very well.

I dont see how ads would help even if they did... lol at a time like now where there are money issues i suggest that they spend the ad money on the R&D for much better cars...

ads are not overpriced. they are market driven, the prices. but anyway if the domestics had something worth selling you certainly would know it by this time of the selling season anyway.
