At first i didn't get it than I saw it a second time. The reason they didn't use the current offerings is cause Audi's saying is progress is beautiful. They used the old models to show at the time, those were the cars to have but now its Audi's turn. Progress! At least thats what i took from the commercial. If that makes sense. haha.

Erm, I've just watched the commercial and it was utter SCHEISSE. I have no idea what were they shouting about so much. First seconds, those intended to humiliate MB and BMW were just pathetic. The following scenes were by no means impressive, poor soundtrack, not that special camera job, no thrilling action, no funny stuff. Didn't the creators and directors watch Top Gear? Then they'd know how cars deserve to be filmed and what production music to use in the background. The "Godfather" R8 commercial was miles ahead of this. i don't see the BMW or MB racing the Audi in this advertisment. This is just creating the feeling that the past is the past. What was cool then isn't cool now. if you are taking about hte ad it must have worked
