Aston Martin releases official Rapide renderings
We saw the first official Aston Martin Rapide renderings last month. Today Aston Martin has dropped another round of official Rapide renderings along with some new details.

According to AutoCar, the Aston Martin Rapide is based on a stretched DB9 wheelbase (by 255mm), making the car 5 meters long - giving it enough room to compete with the Mercedes-Benz S-Class. An undeniably handsome vehicle, but how long can it possibly take to produce what (for all the world) looks like little more than a four door version of every other Aston Martin design released this decade?

They're not getting stale. They're a timeless spporty design that is immediately identifiable, like a Porsche. No one says Porsche is getting stale, yet the 911 has evolved extremely slowly over a long time just like Aston Martin has.

I agree. The whole design is getting just a little over-used. They need a new "flare" to it. But otherwise, its a nice looking car.
