Special highway lanes only for Lexus?

Everyone who lives in California knows about the the toll roads and a lot of people aren't happy with them.

Here is a letter from an unhappy Californian in today's San Jose Mercury News:

I do not like the idea of a toll road. I think it is a Lexus lane. I pay taxes for these damn carpool lanes though I can't use them. This is a very poor idea.

Without even knowing it, I think she has coined a new phrase!

Gotta get my fastrak transponder so I can drive in the 'Lexus' lane!

Maybe it will make it into Wired magazine as a new buzzword.
