There is no doubt that we’re excited about the upcoming 2010 Volkswagen Golf GTI. The 2.0 4-cylinder TSI making 207-hp should be more than enough for those who want to go a little faster. I bet Vwvortex is on fire about this news, the dubbers have been praying for turbo/AWD in a Gti package for years and may have their prayers answered, I didnt wait and just went to the dark side after the GLI but I miss it at times. I predict this car will be a decent hit even in this economy

As a MkV owner, this car (if it comes with a 4-door option, unlike the R32) will be my next car. Not many car companies make a car at this price point with the interior quality, combined with a frugal but powerful engine. Can't wait for it!

Those MK5's with some options are over $30k. This will be $40k! You can get some aftermarket parts totaling $7k (installed) that will produce over 300hp and 300tq that will smoke this. They better price this aggressively or the current market of cars in that range will destroy it.
