Volkswagen adds 7-speed DSG to European Passat CC

Volkswagen adds 7-speed DSG to European Passat CC
Over in the UK, drivers buying a new Passat CC now have a new transmission option that gives them an extra 1.2 mpg. The 160 hp 1.8L TSI four cylinder can now be paired with VW's 7-speed DSG dual clutch gearbox in place of the 6-speed manual. The DSG yields a combined 32.2 mpg (U.S.) compared to the 31.0 mpg (U.S.) with the manual. Similarly, the CO2 emissions have dropped from 178 g/km to 172 g/km. The 2.0L TDI diesel and gasoline 3.6L V6 are available with the 6-speed DSG, in addition to the manual and conventional automatic transmissions.

I saw this car at the dealer a month ago and it looked amazing! Top notch quality inside and out. Would have a hard time choosing the A4 over this.

I agree the interior quality is excellent, and it looks more expensive than its pricing and badge would suggest

The Passat CC is just an attractive car plain and simple. In my view it's always been more of a luxury type car under the VW badge and this is no exception. This is probably the best looking Passat and the build looks to be very solid as well.

This car is soooooooooooooooo much better than ANY of its competitors. It combines excellent turbocharged petrol engines, one of the best gearboxes, advanced safety features like line keeping assistance, radar-guided cruise control and maybe blindspot warning, great driving dynamics with STUNNING looks and decent practicality. It has w huge boot! VW is just the best car maker in the world. The end.
