Nissan GT-R SpecV with left-hand-drive spotted
The Nissan GT-R SpecV made its debut on Jan. 8th for the Japanese market. At the time Nissan had said nothing about a U.S. spec version or even versions for other markets. For those of you unfamiliar on what side of the road the Japanese drive on, all of their cars are right-hand-drive.

Charles, the mods when compared to the normal GT-R are rather subtle than extensive. Why has the price gone so high up?

I hope it comes equipped with a Super Kirby vaccuum to clean up it's transmission that will be in pieces all over the track.

The product will only last based on how big the owner ego is. An idiot like you would put it in a tree.

No Chump, I'm talking about the GT-R tranny that is equipped with that poor excuse of a launch control system. I don't remember anything about the LF-A with a Camry tranny, but I do remember all those imploding GT-R trannys.

ChuckG37,

What about that unreliable tranny that came with the GT-R? What's the point in offering launch control when the car has a 50/50 chance in not moving when the the thing breaks down?

God forbid, the new ones should be better.

I never understood why they had the launch control system in the GT-R, but folks couldn't use it otherwise it will void out their warranty. That's like telling the people who buy Jeeps not to use their 4-Wheel-Drive or it will void their warranty. This is such a stupid ploy by Nissan which shows just how chicken shit they really are. They get people to buy their POS wanna-be Porsche and of course people are going to be curious about the launch control, and before you know it... Their GT-R will be on a tow truck on it's way to the Nissan dealership only to find out they've just voided out their warranty.
