Review: 2009 Mazda RX-8
Mazda has received much praise for their RX line of cars, with the 2003 RX-8 replacing the popular RX-7. As the only major car manufacturer to use a rotary engine, I was interested to see how it performed. Rotary engines inherently offer a compact, comparably lightweight engine, operating at higher RPM that standard piston engines. Did it deliver the same excitement as a V-6 with similar horsepower? Did it deliver zoom-zoom?

If you can read the MSRP is under 27k. Which is cheaper than its rivals from nissan and honda. This is great value for money as a performance/entry luxury car.

If you want to experience the real "ultimate driving machine" you take one of these for a spin. None of that muted steerling, electronic gremlin ridden, rubbery shifter equipped, tedious to ride in bimmers.

I own an '04 RX8 (original owner) and I love every day driving it. I like the Z/370Z and G35/G37 and they are fun and faster cars but they don't have the driver involvement and feel of the RX8. The RX8 is thirsty though but I don't regret buying it.
I'm also a former 93 FD RX7 owner.

Why so few appreciate the RX-8 is a mystery to me. From concept, to design, to execution, the RX-8 is simply brilliant. Completely engaging in every conceivable way, the RX-8 is easily one of the most unique, interesting, dynamic, stylish and practical (from a packaging standpoint)performance coupes available - at any price!

I wouldn't mind getting one at all. RX-8 to me stands above the rest (when it comes to the rice Rockets class). I heard that Mazda my revive the RX-7. Is this true???
