I liked driving the RX400h, but I spoke with a few owners and none of them were happy with it. The one (a relative) couldn't stand it (which I cant understand) and got a E320 Bluetec... and loves every second. I wish lexus wouldn't label their hybrids with different numbers than the gasoline... if the gas engine is 3.5L, then call it RX350h. Just more advertising BS.

ChumpG37, If Lexus had an issue with the batteries, or Hybrid System, this as mentioned earlier, the doctor would be hit from the back, not the front. All the batteries are under the rear seats. I work for the local newspaper here in West Memphis, and it is apparently a bomb of some sort, not a hybrid malfunction. Although it could be an exploit of the hybrid technology (As much an exploit as soaking a rag in gasoline and stuffing it in the tank). He was outside the vehicle looking at the exposed hood, presumably because there was something wrong with the car.
