Say hello to the best car in its class. Edmunds currently perform the long term test of one of these, the 2.0 TFSI Avant quattro with a six speed automatic, they are averaging 21,5 MPG and got the car from 0-60 in 6,4 sec. With the 7-speed dual clutch automated manual the mileage should be bumped a bit while the acceleration time lowered. That S4 is impressive, ~30mph highway mileage and low 5 sec 0-60 in a midsize sport sedan.

Try under 5 sec (0-60). It's a mouthwatering package, and it makes the Subaru Legacy GT look like a poor value.

OTOH, this S-tronic setup isn't mentioned as being for the US. Don't get your hopes up, guys.
