Sportec SC350 takes the Vw Scirocco to another level

Car tuners are currently turning their attention on the Vw Scirocco, the newest version of which comes from the Swiss high-end tuning firm Sportec. The tuning program for the Scirocco includes optimization of performance, sports suspension, stylish wheels and engineering components that aim at general enhancements.

The original power yield of 200hp from the 2-liter gasoline unit after optimization is now available from 240hp to 350hp. Maximum torque for the top variant was improved from 280 to 480Nm. The combination of engine electronics with a stainless steel exhaust along with a turbocharger from Sportec, a charge-air intercooler and revised fuel system have together enhanced the car’s performance level. The engine comes with a carbon hood.

+1 Boost

Come on VW. Once and for all bring this car to the US.The Golf R20 is nice but the body style is boring. The Scirocco has a wider track and a lower center of gravity for better handling. Also it is cheaper to build then the Golf and sells for slightly less then a GTI in Europe.Bring the Scirocco R20 over here and price it at 33 grand. It will sell.Any car that can do 0-60 in the 5 second range,has great handling,and very minimal torque steer will be a winner.
