Honda CR-Z to show up at this year’s Tokyo Auto Show
It is public knowledge that Honda intends to bring in a production variant of the CR-Z two-seater hybrid as a follow up to its latest Insight. Details have now been relayed via a well-placed source providing information that has never been known before.

First off, the production model of the CR-Z will be officially introduced this November at the Tokyo Motor Show and hit outlets by December in Japan. The news of all news is that Honda is planning to make a CR-Z Type R – a Type R hybrid! What can be confirmed is that the Type R hybrid will be opened next year. Details of the conversion from the standard CR-Z to Type R is unfortunately unavailable.

if the Type R follows in the path blazed by the Tesla and the super-capacitor equipped toyota hybrid that won a race beating out porsches and such, it may well blow the doors off whatever YOU drive!
