Ford to offer 4-cylinder EcoBoost to account for two-thirds of lineup
According to Derrick Kuzak, FoMoCo’s vice president of global product development, the company intends on doubling 4-cylinder engine volume and will offer a 4-cylinder option on each car and crossover by 2013.

“We’re all about the smaller displacement as a way to drive significant fuel economy without sacrificing performance,” said Kuzak in an interview with Automotive News.

Def. one of the better American Engines Out there but then Ford always made great engines like the Rocam and Rally inspired engines; even though designed in Europe/UK.
Heard that they are going to be pushing way over 300Bhp in some versions from a 2.5L Bi-Turbo 4. Forget V-6, that will be V-8 performance.

How much over 300bhp? At that power you would need to be pushing 18-20 psi.

Isnt trying to appeal to the tree huggers boost just a turbo to an engine to make it have more power and better fuel economy? The same thing the Asians and Europeans have been doing for years.
