Looks like no Christmas bonus this year at Chrysler

The automaker said in an e-mail Friday it will voluntarily recall about about 300,000 2005 vehicles equipped with six-cylinder engines and automatic transmissions.

The recall is to fix a plug in the transmission that, if missing or improperly staked, could prevent the driver from putting the transmission into park. There have been no accidents or injuries due to this problem.

Vehicles include some Jeep Liberty, Chrysler 300, Dodge Magnum, Dodge Dakota, Mitsubishi Raider, Jeep Wrangler and Dodge Durango vehicles. Owners will be notified in October.

Also Friday, Chrysler said it will voluntarily recall about 283,000 2003-2005 Dodge Ram pickup trucks with diesel engines and automatic transmission to address inadvertent movement of the trucks.

So when you gals out there start making fun of Toyota/Lexus remember American cars, MB, BMW has problems of their own. The best cars out there with the least problems is Japanese cars and we all know it. And to make it worse, it only a Asian Band Wagon right Matt?

If your Grandma is still alive, and is still driving. Hmmmm.

I also never said Japanese cars were in any way unreliable, but seeing as you are only eight, I will be a little more understanding about your poor grasp of English and cars in general.
