Subjective consumer responses as usual. Surveys can be interpreted one way or the other.

I am glad many Lexus owners are spending wonderful time in Lexus dealers, but I rather not spend too much time in any dealers though. I guess Lexus fan boys and girls like over paying for the car and living in the service area?

There is no way I would agree with this survey. I have owned 7 Lexus since 1991 and the customer service at dealerships has significantly decreased. The sales people and service department are just to arrogant

As more old people keep going back to buy Lexus, they will become more arrogant. It's not even full blown prestigious brand but their big head gotten bigger as the price went up.

I couldn't care less if my dealer offered me milk and cookies. I want to spend as little time as possible in the showroom. I want a good deal and I want to buy in the express lane. It's harder to do that at a dealership that tries to over-do-it in the "treat you nice" category. Too much time wasted with fetching my milk and cookies, cordial introductions to "people who will be assisting me" and so on.

Or how about you read my post?!? Yes, I want to spend as little time as possible in the SHOWROOM. Apparently you enjoy dealing with salesman who dont know their product and want to explain to you why they "must" charge you those nickles and dimes. I bet one of those fees is for that cookie you're eating now...

I dont, nor did I say I condone ignorance by the part of the shopper. Simply that the showroom isn't the place to inform yourself and a dealer is not the best person to ask questions. Most of them are ill informed and still take a note right out of the sleezy salesman book.

I do my research ahead of time. I decide on what price is fair before ever stepping into a dealers nest. They dont want to pay my price? Fine, I guarantee someone else will with a phone call. I can buy my car from any dealer in the country, they're all willing to ship these days.

Get it? Or are yous still waiting for your cookies?

They have to do something to make up for their lame cars.

I'd take a crappy dealership experience and a great car, over a great dealerhip experience and a boring lame car.

....and I'm they told they will get you from point A to point B the most reliably as well. Incredible!

....not to mention, I hear they parallel park themselves, so the faint of heart don't have to bother themselves by putting their hands on the steering wheel to accomplish this daunting and laborious task.

Lexus dealerships are amongst the best in North America. It's comparable to Mercedes and other top notch brands.
